Doubledge, We have to give credit to Joe Fazio from Hope Kills Fear for telling us about this band. So we got Joe to do the intro with Brandon for the show. Marvelous stuff. God-given talent is on display all over the place on this album. The song writing and music arrangements on this thing are what evoked my "Iron Maiden" comparisons... Theocracy's songs just have that same "take me on a journey" feel--with lots of extended dual guitar work that just kind of takes you on an emotional, trance-like journey as you listen to the whole album... just wonderful stuff! The guitar work is soulful and technically spot on, the vocals as I stated above are just beautiful and the drum work is fantastic---shaw plays with the fervor of Nicko McBrain...the precision of Neal Pert and he pounds out grooves that at times remind me of Robert Sweet. What more can I say--great band, great album... go get it today!"

Goodness Gracious!! Hammerheads "Rise Above Ruin" is already on the TOP of Anvil and the Hammer's list for CD of the year. Wayne and Brandon catch up with Brysson (Guitar) right before the head out to tour (which they tour a lot). There is something special going on with "Post Mortum" and when you hear it you will understand why. Post Mortum's "Kill the 666" is one of the hardest songs that the band has ever done, but its brutality shows only one spectrum that this band can handle. The addition of DeRock (Violin) really adds a symphonic feel to an unforgettable brand of metal. Have you ever wondered what happened to Carley Coma and Kenneth Schalk from Candiria? Now you don't have to wonder anymore. Wayne and I got to catch up with Carley Coma (lead vocals) of Hope Kills Fear. I have to say that it is an amazing interview and an honor to represent the Hammerheads! Carley brings us up to speed on what happened between Candiria and Hope Kills Fear, as well as the Future. Hope Kills Fear was created for the purpose of using heartfelt, catchy songs to spread a message of hope, faith, strength and perseverance. Wayne and I will both tell you that Hope Kills Fear is right on the money with this one. We can't forget about Bass-Joe, Guitars Julio and Steve.

Carley also mentions how a Candiria fan wrote an email (that is a great display of Do Not Remain Silent) and how it became the bands name "Hope Kills Fear". Also Carley asks for Hammerheads to have a stake in this band! He wants your stories to turn into songs! I have to say that it would be really sweet to have Hope Kills Fear sing your story!

Breaking the Silence in the blacksmith shop today! Brandon and Wayne catch up with Mark (Vocals and Guitar) and Sarah Anthony (Vocals) from Breaking the Silence. Many hammerheads like "Alex" have continually requested this band (with good reason). Breaking the silence is putting the finishing touches on their new album that is scheduled to be released in the Spring of 2009. We have had a chance to hear some of the new music on the bands myspace page. Wayne and I felt that it would be cool to catch up with the band a get a quick history lesson before the new CD comes out. In this episode we cover everything that we could think about from marital problems on the road and what not to feed (Breaking the Silence) when there are in your town!

Stand was produced by Travis Wyrick (yeah think P.O.D., Pillar) which will speak to the quality of this CD. Worship-Core: a style of hard-core metal, extreme metal, (sometimes referred to as screamo/thrash metal) where the song is essentially a Christian Prayer or elements of Christian Prayer (in most instances a verse followed by an answer, or repetition of same verse in different style) resembling a type of "Praise Chorus" or "Worship Chorus" (although being more extreme than what is traditionally thought of as a "Praise Chorus" or "Worship Chorus" ) with the intention of invoking a praise type atmosphere or state of mind
